Enid Taylor ND BSc (Hons) Psych
Enid’s fascination with the gut stems from her own childhood ill-health. She received many courses of antibiotics for repeated chest infections and bronchitis, which affected her gut and left her with what we now recognise as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It became a continual struggle for her to remain healthy, and a constant battle with her digestive imbalance.
Enid gained a BSc in psychology, and a PhD in naturopathy, in order to help solve her gut issues and with her Director of Science husband Glenn Taylor, opened the Taymount Clinic in 2003. The Taymount is a pioneering clinic offering faecal microbiota transplants (FMT) which have proved very successful addressing hard to treat gut issues such a Crohn’s disease, and IBS.
