We are experts when it comes to presenting complicated information in a readable and accessible format. We publish our books on two levels: books aimed at the beginner – our Beginner’s Guides, and books aimed at health professionals – our Comprehensive Guides.
Our Beginner’s Guides are short books aimed at the consumer and are typically around 25,000 – 35,000 words in length. We understand that sometimes, professors, scientists and doctors find it hard to capture the ‘easy to read’ tone consumers want, so our editor can help. Sally Beck is a member of the Guild of Health Writers with 30-years-experience in newspapers, magazines and publishing. She is able to advise authors how to present information in a clear, concise way.
Our Comprehensive Guides are an extension of the Beginner’s Guides, aimed at health professionals or those wanting in-depth knowledge of a particular condition or therapy. Comprehensive Guides are typically around 50,000 words in length.
Book Promotion
We promote our books using dedicated social media pages and we advertise them on Amazon where possible. In the future, we will produce podcasts and add a YouTube channel.
Royalty
We pay a 30 per cent royalty on our paperback books and 32.5 per cent royalty on eBooks. We pay our authors monthly, not biannually like most publishers.
